Imagine a world where Braille and Talking Book Libraries don’t exist, not because of lack of funding, but because all people are able to receive completely-inclusive library services through their local public library.

The world is full of amazing high-tech and low-tech solutions making library collections accessible to people with print impairments, but library budgets are often tight. That’s where Library Access Friends* comes in.

If you or someone you know works at a library in Wayne County, Michigan, that could use help improving their services to people with print impairments, please Contact Us.

Library Access Friends is an exempt organization as described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. We seek to supplement the Braille and Talking Books program serving Wayne County, MI. Our federal tax identification number is 47-3735472.

*Formerly known as Library Access Foundation
