The board of directors consists of five people: Vanessa Morris, Maria McCarville, Sue Steiger, Lynne Coles, and Sherri Nelsen.
The board had its first meeting on April 30, 2015. Articles of Incorporation were signed and mailed on May 1.
The Articles were filed by the State of Michigan on May 7, meaning Library Access Foundation is an officially established nonprofit organization.
In even better news, the IRS was quick to approve Form 1023-EZ granting Library Access Foundation tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3).
Eventually, I hope to have accessible scans of the documents available on our site, but my to-do list can be a bit overwhelming at times, so I’ll get them up… eventually.
